The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.

Dear Visitors & Clients,

Welcome to Sacred Space Wellness, where my mission is to help you increase your sense of safety and ease both internally and externally in all areas of life.

My approach to therapy weaves together wisdom and tools from person-centered, relational, cognitive-behavioral, systemic, Internal Family Systems, narrative, somatic, and mindfulness-based therapies.

1. Person-Centered: The lived experiences and voice of the client are centered in therapy and a non-judgmental presence is provided by the therapist.

2. Relational: Focusing on the relationship dynamics and patterns present in a client’s life and their impact on the client’s well-being.

3. Cognitive-Behavioral: looking at how thoughts, feelings, and actions influence each other and how they can cause/perpetuate distress or ease.

4. Systemic: Understanding how clients are impacted by the systems of which they are, or have been, a part (family, educational, spiritual, cultural, etc.).

5. Internal Family Systems: Getting to know all the parts of a client and increasing understanding about how these parts relate to each other and the world.

5. Narrative: Exploring the stories that the client holds about themselves and the world around them and how these stories impact the client’s experience.

6. Somatic: Exploring the mind-body connection and processing painful emotions that have become stuck in the physical body.

7. Mindfulness-Based: Increasing a client’s ability to be present with their physical, emotional, and mental experiences and attend to them non-judgmentally and with compassion.

I believe in each person’s innate ability to heal, within the context of a therapeutic relationship. I view our work as a collaboration, in which we are both striving to empower your inner healer.
